Welcome to XLIS
XLIS offers the IB-Primary Years Programme, IB-Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme continuum from kindergarten to high school. XLIS is the only SAT and AP test center authorized by the American College Board in the northwestern region of China.
Primary School (PYP)
Welcome to primary school. Students learn a variety of core subjects with the additional cognitive subject to support what teachers are teaching within the classroom. Come and learn more about how PYP can support your child in their learning journey.
Middle School (MYP)
The next stage of education where students start exploring and asking more questions. MYP allows students to explore and learn using their own abilities and mindset. Teachers encourage students to think for themselves, and to prepare students for real-world challenges.
Diploma (DP)
XLIS DP Program is both challenging and rewarding. DP is a challenge for all students who enroll, however, our DP teachers are ready to support, encourage, and motivated students while in their last two years within the DP program. Learn more about what DP is all about.
XLIS: Who Are We
Xi’an Liangjiatan International School (XLIS), the successor of Xi’an Hi-Tech International School, International Department (XHISID), was founded in 2003. It is the first IB World School authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization in the northwest region of China. It is also a key international education program supported by the Hi-Tech Zone Administrative Committee of Xi’an, Shaanxi. The new campus of Xi’an Liangjiatan International School covers a land area of 68,666 square meters. This establishment will be considered a green and modern campus which will provide outstanding international education on a large scale.
