Camps and Exchanges

To provide students with opportunities to travel and engage in learning experiences beyond the school calendar, XLIS organizes camp and exchange opportunities for its students locally, nationally, and abroad. The camps and exchanges organized by XLIS are structured into the following categories:

 

a) XLIS on-campus camps

c) School-to-school exchanges

i. XLIS students visit sister schools locally or abroad

The on-campus camps are planned and organized by XLIS and are taught by the school’s teachers. The external overseas camps are designed by external organizations and carefully selected by XLIS for its students to participate with XLIS staff members accompanying travelling students.

 

The cost for participating in most camps and exchanges are borne by the student and his or her parents. The specific camps and exchanges offered change each year. The community will be notified of upcoming camps through the school’s communication channels, including e-mail, newsletters, and the school’s official WeChat page.
