2018-2021
What brought your family to XLIS/Xi’an?
Before high school, I already had a plan to study abroad, so I felt like it would be the best if I could study IB as a period of time for me to get used to studying and everything else. Also, XLIS is English-teaching-everything basically.
Where are you located now?
New York.
What are you doing now?
Now, I’m going through the last semester of college. Still trying to figure out which university I should go for master degree.
What’s your fondest memory of XLIS?
In the first semester of MYP5, we went to Berlin for MUN. It was the first time I ever had a trip with my friends. Everything was great and perfect ( except for breakfast:(). We played poker and talked all night long. One of the best life memories for sure.
Please share a story on how you are still making a difference today.
I volunteered in an autism conference last year, doing some cleaning and helping with the fundraiser. Just trying to do some good things every day. It’s not very feasible to do something great everyday but as long as it actually helps others is good enough for me.
