Unit of Inquiry
We will learn about the elements of art and use it to create artwork. During this unit, we will learn about abstract art by using line, shape, color, texture, and form to create abstract paper sculpture art that reflects personality. We will also follow Frank Stella’s art style to do our final project.

Summative Assessment:
For our summative assessment, students will create abstract art by the work of Frank Stella. Students will use different elements of art to make art and use elements of design in art works to communicate ideas, messages, and understandings. Also explore different materials, tools, and techniques to respond to design challenges.
