Discuss why you think different eras brought forth different styles of music in human history.  You might also like to share your favourite music with your children and try to find out more about their favourite music too.

For instruments, encourage them to practice at home or at school during lunch breaks. Ask them about how they are doing in music and what they are learning, currently.
