Dear Parents,
Good afternoon! I hope this email finds you well as we are enjoying a little bit of cooler weather as of late. We are now into our last three weeks of this academic year and the summer holiday will be here before we know it!
Today we had our last parent workshop of this year. Mr. Ben and Ms. Angie lead parents through our various online platforms such as Seesaw, RAZ-kids, and IXL to give several tips on how these online tools can be used at home to support your child’s learning. Last week our PR sent a survey to parents to ask what topics you would like us to offer in the next academic year. Your feedback is valuable as we try our best to offer practical workshops to help our parents connect to their children’s learning at school.

The reading, writing, mathematics and WIDA assessments have now all been completed. The teachers are gathering the data and analyzing it in their teams. This information helps us to see the progress of each child as well as set goals for the future. If your child’s teacher has not yet shared the assessment information with you, it will be coming soon. Please don’t hesitate to reach out me or your teacher if you have any questions.
Please remember that we have the IB Asia Pacific workshops at our school this Friday to Sunday. This is the first time the IB has had a workshop session that is not in the eastern part of China, so we are very excited to be hosts! Our Choir will perform for the more than 220 participants who will be joining from all over the world. There will not be any classes for students on this day. In addition, Monday, June 10th
is the Dragon Boat Festival Holiday, so please enjoy a lovely 4-day weekend with your family!
