Primary Parent Workshop
Theme: Building Stronger Connections: Tools for Positive Parent-Child Relationships (Mandarin)
During the elementary school years, establishing open and trusting parent-child communication channels is crucial. Effective communication methods not only strengthen parent-child relationships but also help children develop emotional management skills and foster healthy psychological well-being. When children feel understood and supported, their social competence, learning motivation, and psychological resilience will be significantly enhanced. Our school’s psychological counselor sincerely invited parents of elementary students to attend this thematic workshop, which mainly included:
· Mastering parent-child communication techniques
· Enhancing children’s social-emotional health
· Effectively addressing developmental challenges
The workshop provided practical methods to help create a positive family atmosphere and strengthen children’s psychological resilience.

Week Without Walls
The Week Without Walls at Xi’an LiangJiatan International School is a dynamic program that takes learning beyond the classroom. From November 24th to 28th, 2025, students embarked on trips designed to empower them as global citizens through real-world, hands-on experiences. The purpose was to help students apply academic knowledge, develop essential life skills like leadership and problem-solving, and participate in meaningful Service as Action projects, all while fostering a deeper understanding of their role in the world.
This year, students will explore themes aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals across different locations. MYP1 to MYP3 will travel domestically to Chengdu (Wildlife Preservation), Foshan (Sustainable Communities), and Yangshuo (Responsible Tourism). Meanwhile, MYP4 to DP1 will journey to Jeju Island, South Korea, to investigate specialized themes such as Sustainable Infrastructure, Clean Water, and Marine Biodiversity. Through these focused experiences, students gain a global perspective and learn how to contribute to a more sustainable and peaceful future.
