In their final year of the Primary Years Programme (PYP), students engage in the PYP Exhibition, an important inquiry that allows students to apply the knowledge and skills they have developed throughout the PYP while exploring real-life issues of interest. They presented their research and actions to the school community through engaging exhibits, hands-on models and written reports, showcasing their understanding of real-world challenges and innovative solutions.
Topics for this year’s exhibition included cultural awareness and belonging, human choices affecting animal welfare and the environment, technological innovations in waste management, balancing academic pressure and student well‑being, and communication and perspective‑taking to resolve disagreements in sports.

TEDx XLIS Youth
As an officially licensed TEDx event, TEDx XLIS Youth brought the global mission of “Ideas Worth Spreading” directly into the heart of community. Our young thinkers, creators, and storytellers stepped onto the iconic red dot not just to speak, but to challenge, to inspire, and to connect. They invited us to see the world through their eyes—a perspective filled with fresh insight, empathy, and bold hope for the future. This was a unique dialogue between generations and across cultures, all happening right here at XLIS.
