On May 6th, 2025, the Council of International Schools has announced that “Xi’an Liangjiatan International School has earned CIS Membership by demonstrating its alignment with the CIS Code of Ethics and Principles, and through its leadership in international education, sharing knowledge, embracing diverse perspectives, and challenging itself to continuously improve”. Our school is currently the only international school in the northwest region of China that has joined the Council of International Schools.
Dr. Jane Larsson, Executive Director of CIS, recently visited XLIS and discussed the future of international education with Dr. Liu. During the conversation, their shared desire to further international education, through research and collaboration, matched both organizations perfectly.
Being a CIS member will provide XLIS with access to a network that specializes in university guidance, child protection, and access to a network of CIS affiliated consultants. We are delighted to celebrate this new development with our community, which will help us further our vision to lead education through innovation and a student-centered, community-driven approach.
