Dear Parents,
Hope this mail finds you well. We are in the final couple of months of the academic year and it is a busy phase with assessments, monitoring progress, conversations and reflections. We would encourage you to support your child through this busy phase. We are always available to meet you through appointments should you wish.
I have attached the secondary calendar for the month of April and the sports events for the week. We would appreciate all the support we can get, as our kids represent the school in these sports.
We go on a week long holiday starting from 14-18 of April. We will resume school on April 21.
On April 25th, the school is hosting the ACAMIS Spring Leadership conference. According to our school calendar arrangement, this is holiday for the students.
We have our DP examinations coming up this month starting on April 28th with the M5 e-assessments to follow from May 5th.
Parent workshop on April 30th
On April 30th, the Secondary team would lead a workshop on ‘Assessment & reporting and managing exam stress’. This will be led by the Secondary Principal and the coordinators. The workshop will consider forms of assessments, how they are reported and used for learning. The team will talk about strategies that can reduce examination stress and how learning can be made more effective in that stage. Closer to the date, PR will be sending out an email.
