Dear Parents,
I hope this letter finds in good health. We are in the final stretch of the school year with seven school days to go before we break for summer to finish the academic year. As we reach the end of another school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on our journey together. It has been a year filled with growth, challenges, and achievements. We have grown as a community and this community driven approach is what keeps us committed to our students.
Without parent support, it impossible to do the work what we do at school. We have managed to successfully complete our WWW trip and bring everyone home safely.
I thank you for the parent surveys and I can assure you that the secondary team and myself are carefully looking at the responses to ensure that we can improve the division. Your engagement in the parent workshops this year has made it a great experience to learn together. Based on the surveys and your needs, we are working on planning the next year’s workshops and teaching and learning.
It is a bittersweet moment to say goodbyes to our lovely students and staff who are leaving the school this year. We have grown together and we wish them the best in their future endeavors and hope that our paths cross in the future.
As we head into the summer, I encourage you to take this time to relax, recharge, and explore new interests. Every child at XLIS is valued and is unique and our jobs as educators is to nurture this diversity.
I look forward to welcoming everyone back next year, ready to embark on new adventures together. Have a wonderful summer!
Regards,
Shameek Ghosh
