The Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic visited our school.
On November 6th, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, former Prime Minister (2015-2016), and former Minister of Economy and Finance, САРИЕВ TEMИР visited XLIS. Dr. Lily Liu warmly welcomed Chairman САРИЕВ TEMИР and his delegation, and proceeded with a campus tour, a lunch meeting, and a seminar discussion.
During the meeting, Dr. Liu explained to our distinguished guests, the advantages and unique features of one-on-one university admissions counselling. She emphasized that helping students gain admission to world-renowned universities is the core pursuit of our school’s pedagogical mission. Dr. Liu also elaborated on the different roles played by traditional Chinese education and international education in the preservation of historical and cultural heritages and fostering global exchange. As an international school rooted in the land of China, Xi’an Liangjiatan International School embodies dual roles and bears an undeniable educational mission.
Chairman САРИЕВ TEMИР stated that China’s development in education, technology, and research is currently at the forefront of the world. He further noted that China now leads in five of the thirteen international assessment standards used to evaluate comprehensive national development, a success closely linked to the country’s advancements in high-quality education in recent years. “In just a three-hour visit, Xi’an Liangjiatan International School left a deep impression on me. During my conversation with Dr. Liu, I felt her profound dedication as an educator, a strong and visionary leader, motivated by ‘love’. I am delighted to have the opportunity to visit Xi’an, meeting such an inspiring educator, and learning about this exceptional world-class school,” said Chairman САРИЕВ TEMИР.
Dr. Liu expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to work and grow within a multicultural community over the past twelve years. She added that Kyrgyzstan’s diverse ethnic and cultural background offers valuable opportunities for cultural exchange between students from both countries. “In the future, I hope to visit Kyrgyzstan to meet with the Chairman and his wonderful people. I also envision annual exchange visits for students of each grade from our school, and cordially invite Kyrgyz students to come to Xi’an, to our school.” said Dr. Liu.
China and Kyrgyzstan share both geographical proximity and a historical friendship dating back to the ancient Silk Road. Last May, President Xi Jinping and President Zaparov of Kyrgyzstan held an important meeting in Xi’an, elevating China-Kyrgyz relations to a new era of comprehensive strategic partnership and establishing a community of shared future. Looking ahead, the two countries will further enhance cultural cooperation and promote mutual learning for shared prosperity, strengthening the cultural foundation for the China-Kyrgyzstan community. Our school will continue to actively respond to “The Belt and Road” initiative, seizing opportunities to deepen international exchange and cooperation. We aim to further enhance Shaanxi’s presence in international education, provide high-quality world-class education for international students of the Silk Road region, while attracting more international students to study in Shaanxi, and attend Chinese universities. We will continue to establish a solid foundation on the path of China-Kyrgyzstan relationship through cooperation, building friendship, and envision shared prosperity, and contribute to the triumph of high-quality joint construction of “The Belt and Road” initiative.
