Approximately 57% of our students in this cohort have been awarded a Bilingual diploma, which is a strong representation of native proficiency in more than one language including a mother tongue. XLIS is an inclusive school and many of our students who have produced these results have demonstrated a steady growth in their academic performance during their diploma years through constant guidance in a nurturing environment. During this time, they have enhanced their academic writing and research skills apart from being caring and reflective individuals.
Our highlights have been our students getting into their dream universities with more than 40 offers this year. It is a result of their academic ambitions and the eventual diploma results. Some of our offers include Hong Kong University, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, University of Toronto，University of British Columbia, University College London, University of Manchester, King’s College, London, University of Melbourne, Purdue to name some. This class has received over US$96,000 and HK$182,000 in scholarships which is definitely a matter of prestige.
We commend our students for the perseverance and balanced approach that they have had in successfully completing their diploma in one of the most challenging times that we have seen in recent years. We would like to wish every graduate the very best for their future!
