On 23rd February 2022, our DP Coordinator and the team of diploma teachers held an evening to introduce the Diploma programme to the parents of our MYP 5 students. This event is a crucial time in the students’ academic life- they are at the same time apprehensive and yet excited at this new prospect. This event starts typically with the various presentations to the students during class time by the DP Coordinator and the teachers. They are the most critical stakeholders in this process, and we need to give them all the information required to help them make informed choices.
The evening was dedicated to both parents and students. The event started with a brief introduction to the Diploma Programme by the DP Coordinator, Mrs Jaimala Quinlan, followed by a presentation by our career guidance counsellor Ms Kate Yu. We have included the presentation for all parents interested in learning about the Diploma Programme at XLIS.
