1. Chinese New Year Holiday
Monday, 5th February-Friday, 16th February
From Monday, February 5th to Friday, February 16th, the school will be closed for the Chinese New Year Holiday. We wish you all a safe and wonderful Chinese New Year.
2. Professional Development Day – Monday, 19th February
Immediately after the break all staff at XLIS will take a one day professional development. We will learn about standardised assessment, inclusion, differentiation and service. The goal of this day is to work to improve the services we provide to our students, thus achieving our school mission.
3. Start of ECAs – Tuesday, 27th February
The XLIS Extra Curricular Activities’ Team is happy to announce the start of the second semester ECAs! An exiting variety of activities will be available to students of all ages every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. Please be reminded that buses will leave the school at 16:35 during ECA days. We look forward to another round of thrilling activities at XLIS!
Primary School Events
1. Assemblies – Fridays
Each Friday one of our homeroom classes has the opportunity to showcase what they have been learning! This is a student-led event that is supported by the teachers. The parents of the class that is presenting will be invited to join the audience.
