Encourage your children to listen to various styles of music such as: Renaissance, Baroques, Classical, Romantic, Modern, Jazz, Pop (which will be covered in class) and various other sub-genres. Discuss why you think different eras brought forth different styles of music in human history.  You might also like to share your favourite music with your children and try to find out more about their favourite music too.

For instruments, ask them about what they are learning and doing in class. Encourage them to keep trying their best.
