Maintaining good oral health is a crucial component of overall health. In an effort to prevent and reduce dental caries in children and promote healthy oral habits, our school invited a team of dental experts from the Xi’an International Medical Centre Stomatological Department to conduct a “Dental Inspection on Campus” activity. The goal was to improve the awareness of oral health care in childhood among parents and the school community, and to help all students achieve a confident smile.
On April 25th and 26th, medical staff from the Xi’an International Medical Centre Stomatological Department carried out an oral examination for each student, excluding Early Childhood Education (ECE) students. The examination included an assessment of the students’ oral conditions, alignment, anti-decay prevention, and advice. Each student was provided with a “Children Dental Examination Feedback” card, and the school will keep a detailed record of the students’ health status. Parents can use the feedback card to learn about their children’s oral health and receive prevention and treatment suggestions to prevent disease and promote early intervention.
Conducting oral health exams for school-age children can effectively prevent toothaches caused by dental caries, appetite, chewing, and digestive problems. These exams also help to cultivate children’s habits of caring for and protecting their teeth, promoting oral health and growth.
Xi’an Liangjiatan International School is committed to ensuring the healthy growth of our students by continuing to work with the dental expert team from the Xi’an International Medical Centre Stomatological Department to achieve our goal of improving the oral health of our students.
