Dear Parents,
Hope this e-mail finds you in good health. This is my final email before we head in for the holidays. Our Christmas concert this year has definitely raised the bar for next year. Thanks to the performing arts team for their efforts in bringing together all the elements and making the concert a grand success. I appreciate your support towards our community and living our mission and vision statements through our actions. I hope that this continues into the new year, and leads to creating new opportunities for collaboration and celebrations.
Our DP course selections have happened yesterday, as our M5 students took the opportunity to explore different subjects, play to their strengths and make informed choices. Thanks to our DP teachers for hosting today’s meeting.
I would also suggest that you check and update your parent details (Name, phone numbers/e-mail) on Managebac, in case there are changes. If there are updates to your phone number/email ID, please contact PR at the earliest. This allows us to contact you in case of any needs. When we come back, we will send the Semester 1 report cards on 10th January, and will have the parent teacher conferences on January 15.
To add to the festive mood at XLIS, we are celebrating this week as spirit week and getting our secondary students to participate. However, they need to give their names to their homeroom teachers. We are swapping the Thursday and Friday dress code for the spirit week.Thursday will be Christmas Pajamas and Friday will be the Christmas sweater day.
Please keep warm during these winter months as the temperature drops further. Be safe if you are traveling and hope to see you back soon after the break.
