Dear Parents,
I hope that this email finds you and your family well. It’s a difficult time as we are looking forward to the Christmas Holiday as many children and family members may be getting sick. In addition, the weather is turning colder this week. With only 8 school days left until the holiday, I am wishing you all warmth and good health.
This week our Performing Arts Department and Resources Department will be very busy getting prepared for our Christmas Concert on Saturday. Also, we have many parents who have been participating in decorating the school and who will be setting up a Christmas Market outside the theatre on Saturday. I love how our school events bring our community together. A big thank you to Mr. Rambaud, Mr. Parker, Mr. Kim and our PTA for leading the planning and preparations for this very special day. In the coming days, there will be more information about the concert day shared with you, so please keep checking your school communication channels.
Our Head of Health and Wellbeing, Ms. Maria, has again organized a fun “Christmas Spirit Week” for the days leading up to our Christmas holidays. Each day, the XLIS community may participate to bring joy to the campus. Please encourage your children to participate and have some fun!
Here is the information for each day:
These kinds of events can help to bring our community closer together. The vision of XLIS is to lead education through innovation and a student-centered, community-driven approach. We are always keeping this vision at the forefront of all that we do.
This is my last email before the Christmas holiday. I wish you all a safe, healthy and joyful holiday season with your family. As always, you may reply to this email to let me know how things are going. Remember to include your child’s name and if you use a “QQ” email address, you will have to copy my email address manually.
Warm wishes,
Marly Song
