I am pleased to share an exciting development with you—Xi’an Liangjiatan International School (XLIS) has officially earned membership in the Council of International Schools (CIS) on May 6th, 2025.
This achievement reflects our alignment with the CIS Code of Ethics and Principles and acknowledges our leadership in international education. It affirms our dedication to sharing knowledge, embracing diverse perspectives, and striving for continuous school improvement.
By joining the CIS network of over 1,500 schools and universities worldwide, XLIS demonstrates its commitment to a shared global vision:

During a recent visit to XLIS, Dr. Jane Larsson, Executive Director of CIS, engaged in a meaningful conversation with Mr.Brian, the Deputy Head of XLIS, and me about the future of international education. Our shared aspirations—centered on collaboration, research, and educational innovation—strongly reflect the mission and vision of both organizations.
As a CIS Member School, XLIS will benefit from enhanced resources in university guidance, child protection, and access to a global network of CIS-accredited consultants and educators.
