There is no denying that both family education and school education play an important role during the growth and development of every child. In order to cultivate knowledgeable, open minded global citizens in the future, here at XLIS, we have been constantly attracting the best talents in international education as well as carefully cultivating international educators in Xi’an. However, when it comes to the first teacher in a child’s life, they are undoubtedly the parents. Family education hence is playing a significant role in shaping a child’s character and conduct.
Therefore, following the Featured Teacher series, we are now launching the brand new Featured Parent series to have an in-depth talk with our students’ parents. Through listening to their children’s growth stories, we aim to learn some excellent family education concepts, delivering parents’ recommendations, thus promoting family and school communication, achieving positive interaction between family and school and working together for their children’s growth. We are honored to have invited the mother of Alicia from P4A to share her own ideas and of quality education and her expectations for Alicia’s growth.
