This year’s PYP Exhibition was held successfully on campus, and we were delighted to share our celebration globally through live streaming. The Exhibition is one of the key elements of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IB PYP). It is an authentic opportunity for students to showcase the knowledge and skills they learned in the PYP. The students explored real-life issues they are passionate about, engaged in collaborative work, researched to find information and solutions to the problem, and shared their findings with the community.
This year we had eight groups that inquired into the following issues: Digital Addiction, Life Underwater, Sleep, Global Warming, Food, Airplanes, Culture & Performing Arts, and Bullying. The students conducted their research flexibly and under different contexts, with guidance and support from their mentors. As a result, wonderful ideas and creativity emerged.
Our sincere thanks to our XLIS community – parents, colleagues in the primary and secondary, MYP & DP students, support staff, and senior leadership team, who all came together to make the Exhibition journey meaningful for our P6 students. Have a look at the highlights of the Exhibition! As a community, we are very proud of the work and achievements of our P6 students! Indeed, a Celebration of Learning!
