The first semester of the 2021-2022 academic year at Xi’an Liangjiatan International School (XLIS) began in early September and featured a new and improved ECA curriculum. At XLIS, students are provided with the opportunity to participate in extra-curricular activities that will further enhance their academic learning and nurture their personal interests. Our ECA program aims to develop our children’s social, physical and emotional attributes through twenty-eight engaging courses. These encompass a wide variety of new additions which include but are not limited to mixed martial arts, E-Sports, badminton, knitting, and our newly assembled secondary-school band. In addition, thanks to the visionary approach of our ECA program’s Director, Mr. Lee Li, and in collaboration with XLIS’ Resource Department, we have completed the construction of a fully equipped, outdoor golf training range, and putting green. Diversity is key to the success of our ECA program as it allows us to meet the needs and preferences of our students, regardless of their age.
Over the past two months, we have witnessed the progress that our students have achieved in their different disciplines, and the tremendous enthusiasm and dedication demonstrated as they participate in their ECAs. It is with a great deal of anticipation that I invite you to join me on a journey, as I guide you to discover the magic that XLIS’ 2021-2022 ECA program has to offer!
