Whole School Events
This year, we designed two Korean Online Open Days to accommodate the admissions needs for Korean families who are planning to relocate in Xi’an in the near future. Virtual school tour, IB Programmes introduction, Q & A, … and etc., all this detailed information will be learned in this session for oversea Korean parents to know more about XLIS before they choose the school for kids when they move to Xi’an.
On Thursday, December 11 the first semester of Extracurricular Activities (ECAs) will end. The XLIS Athletics and Activities team will email a satisfaction survey for all parents to complete. We hope that the ECA program continues to support the growth of your child(ren) at XLIS!
December brings the Christmas season and this year at XLIS we invite the entire community to unite in “A Journey of Love”. On December 13th, the entire school community will gather for the annual Christmas Concert and Market. The concert will be divided into Primary and Secondary sections, with Primary beginning at 8:45 and Secondary at 10:30. The Christmas Market will run all morning, from 8:30 until 12:00, with all proceeds being donated to charitable causes. Please keep an eye out for registration information for the concert, as seats in the theatre are limited!
The December PTA meeting schedules on December 16th, all PTA members are invited to participate, main agendas will be shared out soon.

Our school’s Christmas Break and New Year’s Day Holiday is observed from the 20th December, 2025 to 4th January, 2026. We welcome our students and staff back to school, on Monday the 5th of January 2026!

Theme: DP Choices
This workshop is to explain different subject choices on offer to our current M5 students. Our DPC, Ms. Eva Liu will run the session. This parent workshop would be a build up to the course selection fair that would happen on December 12th. We strongly suggest that our M5 parents come to this workshop to get a better understanding of how subject choices in the DP will also influence future decisions on college majors.
