Firstly, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of you for attending the recent student-led conference and summer fair. Your presence and support were greatly appreciated.
I am excited to share with you a wonderful collaboration between XLIS and Sias International School in Zhengzhou. From May 6th to May 8th, our P6 students and teachers had the opportunity to participate in the Sias IS Grade 5 Exhibition and team-building activities. This collaboration provided our students with a valuable experience of engaging with their peers from Sias International School. Hopefully, each group of P6 students will have the opportunity to engage in cross-school communication.
As we approach the graduation season, I would like to share some important updates and upcoming events:
DP Graduation
Date: May 24th, 2024
Time: 10:30 am – 12:00 pm
Venue: Blue Dragon Theatre
This ceremony is significant for all secondary students and DP parents. We will come together to honor the accomplishments of our DP2 graduates and wish them success in their future endeavors. I am delighted to announce that our Class of 2024 has received numerous acceptance offers from top universities around the world. Such as University College London, University of Toronto, University of Southern California, University of Manchester, University of Warwick, University of Birmingham, University of Leeds, University of Sheffield, University of Durham, University of Sydney, University of Queensland, Monash University, University of New South Wales, University of Western Australia, Ohio State University, Michigan State University, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Pratt Institute, Savannah College of Art and Design, Otis College of Art and many more. Congratulations to each graduate for their well-deserved successes.

M5 Celebration
Date: June 6th, 2024
Time: 10:00-12:30
Venue: Blue Dragon Theatre
This is a celebration to recognize the achievements of our M5 students. Welcome M5 parents to join us in congratulating our students on their accomplishments in the MYP program and preparing them for their upcoming DP journey. Also, M5 Parents and students are invited to enjoy a BBQ lunch together at the school courtyard at noon.

P6 Graduation
Date: June 14th, 2024
Time: 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

A graduation ceremony will be organized for our P6 students. This event will mark an important milestone in their academic journey as they transition to the MYP of their education.

ECEB Graduation:

Venue: 3rd floor- Auditorium
This ceremony is dedicated to our ECEB students, where we bring together ECE students and ECEB parents to witness and celebrate our young students’ first graduation experiences at XLIS as they take their next step into the PYP program.

M1-M5 Week Without Walls
Date: From May 27th to May 31st,2024
Our M1-M5 students will embark on a One-Week Without Walls journey. This event is designed to provide them with enriching experiences both on and off campus, fostering personal growth, and teamwork, and expanding their horizons.
M5 Work Experience
Date: From May 20th to May 24th,2024
I would like to express our gratitude to the parents who have supported us with work experience opportunities for our M5 students. Such as China Northwest Architecture Institute，Hi-win Tech & Huamei Soft，Xi’an International Medical Center Hospital，Xi’an Gaoxin No.6 primary school，Kindergarten, etc. Our students will gain valuable insights and skills as they explore different career paths. As we approach the end of the academic year, I want to emphasize the importance of celebration and reflection.
