Dear Parents ,
Greetings!
I am thrilled to share some blue skies as well as the ongoing support and communication at XLIS.
Student & School Achievements
A total of 10 students from our school participated in the Middle School Girls Soccer Tournament held by the American International School of Dalian on April 12th-13th, and finally achieved a team silver medal.
Additionally, the second Silk Road Music Festival concluded on April 13th, where nearly 50 teenagers and artists took us on a soul-stirring journey.
Furthermore, XLIS ranked in the Top 30 Schools for Expatriate Children by Hurun Ranking.
Parents Code of Conduct
At XLIS, we believe in allowing our children to learn from their normal mistakes and supporting their growth through these experiences. Parents need to refrain from resorting to physical or verbal punishments when their children face challenges. Instead, let us actively assist students in managing their emotions and facilitating their personal development. When conflicts arise within the school between students, please respect and support our educators in following our Restorative Practices Policy to address issues. If you still have any questions or concerns, please email principals to make an appointment for a face-to-face meeting.
Guidelines for Students, Staff, and Parents
Our vision at XLIS centers around being student-centered, community-driven, and self-directed.
Together, we strive to empower our students to continuously grow and surpass themselves, becoming global citizens equipped with the skills necessary to thrive. That’s why students need to adhere to the Restorative Practices Policy”, staff to adhere to the Code of Ethics for Teachers, and parents to adhere to the Parents and Care-givers Code of Conduct. I kindly request you review the attached guidelines for a comprehensive understanding of these principles.
