Secondary School Events
1. Secondary Parent Talk
· 22nd, February 2023-MYP4 & MYP5 & DP1 & DP2
· 28th, February 2023-MYP1, MYP2, MYP3
In Semester 1, we successively completed a series of parent activities, which greatly bonded the home-school connection tighter, and demonstrated a good momentum for family-school cooperation and collaboration. To further develop our XLIS community more engaged and connected, and to provide a broader exchange platform for parents, we planned to conduct 2023 “Parent Talk” in Semester 2! The first two sessions we completed in February were tailored for Secondary parents to share experiences on parenting and other educational philosophy, along with the discussion about how to better support students’ growth from parent level. We firmly believe that the collective efforts and collaborations between family and school will lead to positive school climate, as well as to create a high-quality educational environment.
2. DP2 Mock Exams
The purpose of the mock exams is to give the students the practice to sit for timed papers in exam conditions. The exams were mirrored on the finals- that was students would be able to sit for all the papers that they will have in the finals. Mr. Shameek Ghosh, our DP Coordinator has been arranging for the conduct of these exams. The results from the Mocks will enable teachers to give valuable feedback to students.
