Dear Parents,
March is ending, and we have very important events that are taking place this week and next.
Yesterday, our DP2 Visual Arts students showcased their artwork to their parents and the administration and teachers. This is a very important event for the Arts students as this is the culminating part of their Art syllabus in DP. We were impressed by the level of creativity of our students and their ability to connect art to their real life. We wish them the best in their journey forward.
Personal Project Exhibition: Our M5 students have handed in all the Personal Project reports and are getting ready to exhibit their work on Friday 22nd March. I am attaching an invite to all M5 parents to this letter. The Personal Project is completed over 7-8 months and students choose an area of interest. They must create a product which is inspired by their passion for a certain area. On Friday, they will be able to talk to their parents and teachers about their projects.
Sports Day 29th March: On the Friday before Easter break, we will have our whole school sports day. All students and teachers are very excited about this important day.
M1-3 Week Without Walls: I regret to inform the M1-3 parents that the WWW will not be held as planned this April due to unavoidable circumstances. All students from M1-M5 will go on the WWW trips in May from 27-31st.
This is a very busy semester, can all parents keep track of the work that is being done in class on ManageBac. Please encourage your students to meet deadlines and to meet the teachers to seek feedback whenever they are bit clear about any tasks. Attendance is key to high performance-please ensure that your child attends school regularly and inform teachers if they are away. Olan holidays outside of the school contact time.
