1. Open Day
In March, XLIS held 2 Admission Open Days, and we invited all prospective families who were interested in enrolling in XLIS to sign up for the event. On the day of the event, the Primary Principal gave a comprehensive and in-depth introduction of primary curriculum. And students had the chance to experience an IB style demo class. What’s more, the admission team also led them to visit the campus to learn about the school’s facilities, school life, admission criteria, etc., allowing them to experience high-quality international education in a comprehensive and multi-faceted manner.
3. Primary Parent Workshop
The title of this workshop was “Exploring the Differences Between the IB PYP Approach and Conventional Education” and was led by Mr. Romann Loubser (P6A homeroom teacher) and Mr. Alex Zhu (P6A TA).
This parent workshop was designed to help parents understand the differences between the PYP educational approach and ‘traditional education’ and how the PYP benefits children’s learning. Parents experienced and were guided to explore the strengths of each system and learn how the IB PYP approach aligns with 21st-century skills and global citizenship.
4. Korean Parent Coffee Morning
On the morning of March 27th, Korean parents from ECE to P6 held two coffee morning meetings, which were mainly about campus safety, education and teaching, and listening to parents’ voices.

1. ACAMIS MUN Event
XLIS proudly hosted the ACAMIS Model United Nations (MUN) Conference 2025 from Friday, 28th February to Sunday, 2nd March. This year’s theme, “The Human Impact of Climate Change and Technological Disruption in Asia,” guided delegates as they explored critical issues such as climate-induced migration and the role of artificial intelligence in economic development. During the conference, students took on the roles of diplomats, participated in debates, negotiated solutions, and developed essential leadership and public speaking skills. Through this immersive experience, they gained a deeper understanding of diplomacy, international cooperation, and global problem-solving.
2. Science Math Escape Room Challenge
3. IB DP Visual Arts Exhibition
The IB DP Visual Arts Exhibition was an exciting showcase of the creative journeys undertaken by our talented students. This exhibition was the culmination of years of exploration, innovation, and dedication, offering a glimpse into the unique perspectives of our students as they engaged with the world through art.
4. Secondary Parent Workshop
On March 11, our student care team ran a workshop for our secondary parents. This was mainly focused on identifying factors that can cause stress in students, how can the school respond to this and how parents can support their children at home. Our student care team and the parents had a detailed conversation and considered strategies that can be used to cope with potential stress related scenarios that can be identified and acted upon at the earliest, behavioral changes due to puberty and how this can be addressed.
