On Thursday, September 14th, Dr. Meng Zhen, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Bank of China Shaanxi Branch, led a delegation to visit XLIS for the purpose of fostering school-enterprise cooperation and promoting exchange. Present at the meeting were Dr. Liu, Head of the School; Ms. Echo Zhao, Director of Brand Development; Mr. Kriss Parker, Director of Logistics; and other middle-level cadres.
During the meeting, Dr. Liu commenced proceedings by providing an overview of XLIS’s history and development. She also conveyed her heartfelt appreciation to the Bank of China for its long-standing support to XLIS and its staff. Dr. Liu emphasized that XLIS, a non-profit international school approved to serve the Shaanxi Province Free Trade Zone, relies on the Bank of China’s professional, secure, and pragmatic international business services to facilitate its rapid advancement in international education.
Dr. Meng Zhen highly praised XLIS for its state-of-the-art campus facilities and the expertise of its international teaching staff. He expressed gratitude for XLIS’s unwavering trust in the Bank of China over the years. Additionally, Dr. Meng affirmed the Bank of China’s commitment to providing more personalized and convenient services to XLIS, thereby enhancing its support for XLIS in advancing Northwest China’s international education to new heights through further service optimization.
During the meeting, Mr. Parker offered his perspective on XLIS’s development as a young international school, highlighting its growth in the face of various opportunities and challenges. As a parent with two children enrolled at XLIS, Mr. Parker emphasized the crucial role that the Bank of China has played in enabling his children to receive a first-rate international education, and how XLIS continues to strive for excellence.
Concluding the meeting on avery positive note, XLIS and the Bank of China articulated their mutual visionand commitment to a long-term strategic partnership, extending beyond basicbusiness collaboration.
