One of the most exciting times in the PYP is the Exhibition. The Exhibition provides opportunities for students in primary 6 to showcase what they learned throughout their time in the PYP. Our primary 6 students engage in collaborative group work by conducting an in-depth inquiry about real-life issues they are passionate about.
This year’s Exhibition has been incredible for many reasons. Every year, the Exhibition is different. It is about our students’ interests and their ideas. We have the biggest group so far, a total of ten groups that inquired into the following issues:
• Architecture
• Global Warming
• Bullying
• Gender Equality
• Arts
• Health & Sports
• Nuclear Energy
• Animals
• Gaming
• Natural Disaster
Once again, our strong sense of community was a huge part of the success of the Exhibition. We are fortunate to work with mentors from the whole school, including secondary and primary principals, DP and PYP Coordinators, secondary, EAL, and EY teachers, whole school counselor, Head of Whole School Cultural Activities, and P6 homeroom teachers. During the inquiry, the students invited guest speakers, went on a field trip, and conducted surveys to help them find information and conduct research.
