“Today was a marvelous interschools discussion and debating event, held in the XLIS School Auditorium. DEXA and XLIS students came together to share ideas on seen topics and one unseen topic. Each student got the opportunity to share their ideas and make a point of view. They also respectfully considered other students’ points of view. Many thanks to Brian, Maria & XLIS staff for hosting the event. ”

“I was delighted to see the two schools come together for an academic challenge. We have collaborated on sports at many times in the past, but this was our first debate. DEXA students were amazing, they were so articulate and confident on the big stage. Our XLIS students also blew me away with their witty problem solving and communication. I look forward to visiting DEXA next academic year for a similar event, perhaps even a poetry workshop.”
