I hope this email finds you well as we approach the festive season! I’m writing to share two important updates: the publication of our XLIS Student Bullying Prevention and Response Policy and details about this year’s much-anticipated Christmas Concert.
Anti-Bullying Policy
At XLIS, the safety and well-being of our students remain a top priority. To reinforce this commitment, we have published the XLIS Student Bullying Prevention and Response Policy, a comprehensive document designed to foster a safe and inclusive school environment.
This policy consists of three key sections:
1. Overview of Student Bullying Definitions, types of bullying, and signs to identify it.
2. Emergency Response Plan for Student Bullying Incidents: Roles and responsibilities of the committee managing prevention and response efforts.
3. Emergency Response Procedures for Student Bullying Incidents: A step-by-step guide for addressing and resolving bullying situations.
Please find the full policy attached to this email. I encourage you to read it carefully to understand how XLIS works to prevent and address bullying and how you can support these efforts as parents.
Christmas Celebration: Joy to the World
I am thrilled to invite you to this year’s Christmas Concert and Christmas Market, which will take place on Saturday, December 14th, 2024, at our Blue Dragon Theater. This festive event promises to be a joyful celebration of the season, filled with music, delicious food, and a wonderful sense of community.
Schedule of Events
– 8:30 AM Doors Open
– 9:00 AM: Christmas Market Opens
– 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM: Primary Christmas Concert
– 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM Secondary Christmas Concert
Important Notes on Safety and Logistics:
- Transportation and Parking: Please note that parents and students are responsible for their own transportation to XLIS on the day. Safety is our priority, so we encourage everyone to plan accordingly to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. Parents driving to the event must enter through the west gate and park in the underground lot, following the pedestrian-vehicle segregation policy. Non-driving parents should enter on foot through the east gate.
- Registration: To enhance safety and ensure a pleasant viewing experience, Separate registration for the Primary and Secondary Christmas Concerts will open soon via a PR survey. Registration will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis, so please respond promptly.
