Early Release PD
During this professional development session teachers learned how to proctor MAP assessment. MAP stands for Measure of Academic Progress. It is a new testing system which XLIS has been introducing for all students from P3-M4. This has given our community data compared to an international norm as well as provided teachers with data on how to improve instruction.

Students Vision Check
Myopia is a common vision problem that typically develops between the ages of 6 and 14. Early detection is crucial for prevention, which is why the Health Centre organizes annual vision checks for students. The Health Centre has invited the ophthalmology team from Xi’an No.1 Hospital to conduct vision checks for all students at our school (excluding ECE) on September 26th and 27th, 2024.
