PYP-MYP Transition
When students move from the primary school to the middle school, they move from the care of a full-time homeroom teacher to moving between ten different classes. At XLIS, we have two dedicated homeroom teachers to care for our secondary school students. These teachers check in with the class each morning and are a point of contact for parents. On June 1st and 2nd, we helped our students learn about their new classes and, most importantly, develop self-management skills.

PTA Appreciation Event
In 2025–2026 academic year, the XLIS PTA has been deeply involved in building our school community with great dedication and a strong sense of responsibility, which has brought warmth and strength to the development of XLIS. To express our sincere gratitude to all PTA members, the school held the annual PTA Appreciation Event on the afternoon of June 5. This event was a tribute to every devoted parent partner — as home and school work hand in hand, we walk together on the shared journey of nurturing our children’s growth.

End Of Year All Staff Meeting
On June 12, XLIS held its 2025–2026 All Staff Meeting. As one of the school’s annual traditions, the event provided an opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the past academic year, recognize colleagues celebrating 5 and 10 years of service, and express our sincere appreciation and best wishes to those who will be leaving the school.

End of Semester 2 and Reporting
From Saturday, June 20th to Sunday, August 16th, the school will be closed for the summer vacation. We wish you all a safe and wonderful holiday!
